Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate is located in the highlands region of the Mpumalanga province in South Africa. It is a holiday resort offering accommodation to more or less 500 people and is well known for its forest location as well as for being a fly fishing haven. We offer various activities for guests, such as horse riding for all levels, fly fishing, hiking, and cycling in stunning trails. We also arrange adventure activities such as ziplining, rock climbing, and abseiling.
Dunkeld has an exclusive equestrian estate that is home to well-bred Warmblood sport horses who are seen out in the competition ring as well as in outrides with guests. The estate also has its own unique agricultural development that raises Merino sheep and Angora goats for our local wool project and a trout hatchery, which is the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate is truly a place for any horse lover’s dream.
