Based in London, Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC) is an NGO relying on fundraising and subscriptions to push forward our mission of defending Cuba. We advocate an end to US military occupation at Guantanamo Bay, to foreign intervention, and to the 50-year-old illegal blockade of Cuba. While our headquarters is in the UK, we are based broadly with over 5,000 members as well as affiliations with local groups and organizations. We receive support from educational and cultural groups, legal groups, communities, MPs, trade unions, and the public.
We push for our advocacies through exchanges and tours in solidarity brigades, working to foster better understanding and to build a link between Cuba and Britain. Our activities include public meetings, cultural festivals and events, media publications, online sale of resources and goods related to Cuba, high-profile campaigns, and more. All these aim to provide an insight into the island’s real situation, which is rarely tackled in Western media. We also organize fundraising to provide material assistance and finances to Cuban people carrying out hurricane relief work and standing up against the blockade.
