Clinicians of the World (COW) is a global nonpartisan, nonprofit medical humanitarian organization established in Rochester, Minnesota in 2010 by Dr. Rowlens M. Melduni, a cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic. COW specializes in providing humanitarian aid, health education, and medical care to people from underserved communities across the globe regardless of political affiliation, religion, or culture. We aim to foster better health and self-reliance by educating and training healthcare professionals and individuals struggling to address their healthcare needs.
We envision a world where all people, especially in developing nations, have access to quality healthcare services. Hence, we strive to improve access to healthcare and medical systems in remote places to help disadvantaged families lead more productive lives. Our mission is carried out through these programs: Deworming, Global Medical Relief, Health Education and Specialty Training, and Community Health Outreach. These aim to improve public health and sanitation; help underserved communities meet its members’ healthcare needs; promote health awareness; and provide vital health resources to areas with little to zero access to medical care.
