Centre International de Langue Française d’Annecy (CILFA), or Annecy International Center of French Language, is a nonprofit higher education center established in 1998 to provide French language training to non-native speakers. We are located in Annecy-le-Vieux - a commune between mountains and a lake in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, southeastern France. Our agreement with the Université Savoie Mont Blanc since 1999 allows us to administer DALF and DELF exams.
CILFA offers French courses, which are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), as well as activities (excursions, coffee and discussions, cultural visits, etc.) to different age groups and all proficiency levels. Our students come from 46 different nationalities and are typically between 17 and 73 years old. We only hire certified instructors who have experience in teaching French as a foreign language to ensure our students learn from the best. Class sizes are limited to provide tailored instruction that helps each individual learn and improve according to their goals.
