Pintadera is an Italian language school in a beautiful, picturesque alley in Alghero, a historic town in Sardinia. Established in 2004, our school is run by two women - a Berlin native with vast international background and a native of Alghero. We offer a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, making for an ideal setting to learn Italian and gain a unique insight into the culture of Sardinia. Students do not just develop and hone their language skills in the classroom, but also on the streets where all five senses are stimulated. They listen and speak as well as breathe, eat, and feel Sardinia.
We have culture and intensive language courses for groups, on top of special courses - wherein one of the most popular choices among tourists is the AllegraMente. This is a weekly crash course that takes place during late afternoons to provide participants a tempting taste of Italian way of life and language. No matter the course our students take, they become involved with various activities as well. It could be participation in local customs, immersion in typical Sardinian lifestyle, and sampling of locally made wine, among others.
