Building a Volunteer and Training Center in Kampala
With this project, we are supporting an initiative to put up a permanent volunteer and training center in the region of Kampala that will answer the increasing demand for skilled labour and volunteer opportunities. The center is planned to provide programs for volunteers, trainees and youth from Uganda and other countries of the East African region, and will serve as a one stop center for regional integration.
We are looking for volunteers to help accomplish this project. The group will take part in the construction of the volunteer and training center. The volunteers will also work on raising awareness and developing strategies for the effective operation of the center.
1. Help establish and develop a volunteer and training center for the young people of Uganda.
2. Promote regional integration and understanding between the countries in East Africa.
3. Gain practical experience in construction.
4. Experience the diverse Ugandan culture.
5. Make friends with local and international volunteers.
