The Bergwaldprojekt (Mountain Forest Project) works to educate people on mountain forest destruction. We carry out activities aimed at the conservation of such a beautiful ecosystem, and we take on volunteer assistance to achieve our goals. We provide individuals a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the beauty of the Bergwald as well as learn about its importance to our community. It protects us from natural calamities like flood, erosion, and avalanche. It also serves as a rich natural habitat for several plant and animal species, a source of timber, and a recreational area for a lot of people. People interested in joining our project go into the forest to carry out volunteer work. While helping with our activities, they gain an insight into the protected area’s conditions and connection with our community. Their time with us raises their ecological and personal awareness of the Bergwald.
