The STEM Internship Program offers candidates an opportunity to gain international work experience with an Australian company in the STEM fields: Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The program was designed for tertiary degree students and graduates from around the world who want to further develop their skills and gain exposure to a real working environment.

Candidates are able to choose the most suitable internship duration, from 12 to 26 weeks. Positions are available in all major Australian cities and are open to all nationalities.

Australian Internships (AI) is an approved sponsor for the 408 Temporary Activity Visa. Candidates who require Visa sponsorship will be assessed and the AI team will confirm on a case-by-case basis if they meet the program requirements.
