Aspiring Guides

Since 1990, Aspiring Guides has been guiding in the spectacular New Zealand Southern Alps and beyond. Guided ascents of Mt Cook and Mt Aspiring, Instructional Courses, Rock Climbing, Ski Touring, Ice Climbing, Hiking and multi-day Trekking. We also run a Month Long Intensive Programme, which is designed from the experience of many years of hiking, mountaineering, and alpine climbing in New Zealand. The program is almost entirely a hands-on technical mountain skills course with the majority of time spent outdoors. This is the only mountaineering program of it's type in New Zealand.
