Based in the spectacular Bay of Islands in New Zealand's far north, our Masterclass of Adventure Programme is designed to engage crew in real adventure whilst conducting front line marine research.
In the space of three months participants will develop skills in scuba diving, ocean kayaking, sailing and seamanship, hiking and bush craft and first aid in remote environments.
The culmination of the course will see crew carry out a series of ambitious expeditions that incorporate community service and environmental research projects. You'll learn from world class adventurers including Arctic explorers and Royal Marine Medics, and graduate as an adventurer in your own right.
Our centre is based in the spectacular Bay of Islands a micro-region in New Zealand's far north region encompassing more than 140 subtropical islands. The area is known for its abundant marine life, unspoiled white sand breaches and dense native forest. Your elevated safari style lodging (which is included in the course fee) is set amongst a mature vineyard with expansive ocean views over the Bay of Islands.
