Prepare for a successful teaching career by taking an intensive TEFL course at the American College of Thessaloniki (ACT). If you are a university student, a graduate of English, a proficiency certificate holder, or a beginner with little formal training, sign up for the Introductory program. If you are relatively experienced, choose the Advanced level course. But no matter what you enroll in, you will gain a firm foundation and practical experience in the current approaches to teaching English as a foreign language.


With the guidance of highly qualified instructors, you will learn to teach language skills (e.g. listening/speaking, reading/writing, etc.); develop lesson plans; design teaching materials; manage a classroom; and more. You will observe English classes taught at Anatolia Elementary and Anatolia College. You will also conduct practice teaching at Anatolia Elementary to students ages 6 to 12.
