A Breeze of Hope Foundation is a nonprofit organization specializing in providing assistance to children and adolescents who have experienced any form of sexual violence. Our work aims to give free holistic support to everyone who have gone through sexual violence while still young in order to bring back their lives. We also strive to foster healthy development among children and to get rid of sexual violence by implementing transdisciplinary prevention strategies. Our activities are centered on the belief that how society sees and deals with children should change to stop all forms of violence, especially sexual, against girls and children.
We confront this problem with a three-part strategy: primary prevention, secondary prevention, and tertiary prevention. These involve creating a culture that gets rid of sexual violence at a structural level; providing free legal, medical, social, and psychological services; and providing rehabilitation programs and long-term support to survivors. Individuals who wish to contribute to our efforts can get involved in many ways, including donating, volunteering, and hosting an awareness-raising discussion, amongst others. Even as simple as pinning a Blue Ribbon - the international symbol for opposition to child and adolescent sexual violence - on their clothing helps in raising awareness of our cause.
