What is the number one reason you decided to go abroad?

To experience new cultures.

What about TEFL Pro Prague attracted you?

Their central location and small-class lessons.

What was your favorite part about taking courses in Prague?

To get to TEFL Pro Prague, I had to walk across the Old Town Square!

What makes TEFL Pro Prague unique?

Highly engaging small-class lessons and a lot of varied teaching practice. They cooperate with local schools and you get a real insight into teaching in Prague.

How did local staff support you during your time in Prague?

They were very helpful in terms of everything - progress tests to make sure you understand, job assistance, visa advice, etc.

Describe what a typical day was like for you in Prague.

We started at 9:30 a.m. with two 90-minute seminars. After a lunch break, we had time to prepare our lessons (teaching practice). On Mondays and Wednesdays we went out to one of their partner schools to practise teaching of bigger groups, Tuesdays and Thursdays we stayed in the classroom and taught smaller groups (one or two individual students). Once a week I also met my "off-site" student in his office.

What was your favorite activity outside of TEFL coursework and teaching practice?

Guided tour around Prague Zoo.

How has earning your TEFL certification in Prague changed your life?

I have stayed in Prague to teach English and I´m really enjoying it!

What are you doing with your TEFL certificate currently?

I am currently teaching English in Prague for several language schools which would be impossible without my TEFL certificate. I am planning to stay here for two years or more to get more teaching experience.
