At Yangon Academy International School, the high school program for Grades 9 to 12 offers a robust and challenging college preparatory curriculum. Based on the Common Core standards and Advanced Placement curriculum, the program utilizes a variety of American textbooks and materials from global publishers, supplemented by numerous internet-based resources. To graduate, students must earn 25 credits and participate in specialist classes until Grade 10, covering Art, Music, Computer Studies, P.E., and Myanmar Language and Culture. The teaching staff at Yangon Academy is predominantly American, South African, and Myanmar, with a high percentage holding advanced degrees and current teaching certifications.
