Living aboard sailing yachts in small groups of 11 to 13 teenagers of similar ages, ActionQuest students discover the British Virgin Islands, learn new skills, earn certifications, and develop leadership abilities while having the time of their lives! Up to eight yachts sail together in a flotilla, allowing participants to connect with others from all over the United States and the world. Under the guidance of licensed sailing experts, participating teams will take charge of piloting and running their vessels. Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Fig Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Lake Manyara Area – Serengeti National Park After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands,Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti. Overnight: Nyani Seronera Campsite Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.Overnight: Nyani Seronera Campsite Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before driving toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon and enjoy breathtaking views.Overnight: Simba Campsite Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Early breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. After lunch, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.

Learn Spanish in Malaga, Spain, with Agualivar. Participants are welcomed into the school where they experience the local way of life as part of a warm, friendly family. Besides living together with teachers, participants speak only Spanish every day. Teachers and the rest of the Agualivar staff help students find the right words to say in daily conversations. Courses are specifically designed to meet individual needs. The school is not a traditional academy; it is a beachfront village where students enjoy an unforgettable holiday while learning Spanish. Classes have a maximum of four students and lessons tackle all language skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture. The tuition is usually in the morning, leaving the afternoons and evenings free for activities, visits, excursions, and/or private study. The great advantage of this program is that participants live in the house with teachers so that learning does not stop at the end of the lesson.

THE CHALLENGE Before construction industrialization, Andean communities built with rich clay soils. Globalization shifted practices to single-skin concrete buildings—faster and “modern,” but colder, costlier, less ecological, and more earthquake-prone. Hundreds of adobe homes now lie in ruin, and as these traditional methods vanish, so does their cultural and architectural heritage. THE SOLUTION We’re helping restore these buildings to preserve heritage and provide future benefits, from dignified homes to income through tourism. With support from our experienced team, join a design or build project to learn how adobe houses are made in the Andes and help restore those that might otherwise collapse. OUR METHODOLOGY Our internships use Design Thinking to co-create solutions with local partners. You’ll learn to observe, ideate, and prototype in real contexts, building skills while driving sustainable change. On weekends—or before and after your stay—you can explore Ecuador, from the Amazon to the Galápagos.
