Based in an outstanding boarding school in Wiltshire, two hours away from London, XUK Excel offers children and teens aged 13 to 17 the opportunity to specialize in the activities they love. Campers will focus on one of three electives in the morning: • Adventure (paddle boarding, mountain biking, bushcraft, climbing, and more) • Sport (football, swimming, archery, rugby, cricket, badminton, and more) • Creative (photography, filmmaking, arts, crafts, and cookery) In the afternoons, campers come together to experience new and exciting activities such as cookery, dance, arts and crafts, sports, and more. South Africa is known across the world for its success in rugby, swimming, football, and cricket, so it comes as a surprise to many to learn that sport is not part of the standard curriculum. Many children living in townships have never properly learned how to play their favorite sport. Volunteers will spend their days in local schools coaching sports. There are many sports that the children are eager to learn, including soccer, rugby, cricket, basketball, hockey, tennis, and swimming. This is a thoroughly fulfilling program because you will get to see the children that you work with progress and learn a new skill. In your spare time, there is plenty to do. The program is based in the seaside city of Port Elizabeth and there are some amazing places to visit in the area, with some trips even included in the price you pay. Volunteers live in shared accommodation, which has a swimming pool, game room, and table tennis. Food is also provided.

At Learn & Experience (L&E), we offer a unique experience for 8- to 16-year-olds worldwide, packed with a huge and diverse range of activities—adventure, sports, creative, and more! The venue, Twyford School, is a Hogwarts-style independent boarding school that makes our overnight experience very special. Our L&E Plus programme includes L&E English, and our outstanding Young Global Leader course (13-16) as well as STEAM program. We have a whole evening activity program and weekend excursions, including London, Oxford, Winchester, and local theme parks. Our World Camps allow young people to experience and learn life skills under expert and empathetic guidance, all while making friendships that span the globe. The Discipleship Training School (DTS) at YWAM Toowoomba is a transformative five-month journey designed to help you know God more deeply and make Him known in Australia and the nations. Set in the beautiful landscapes of Southeast Queensland, our campus provides the perfect environment for growth, reflection, and community.
