ELI-Experiential Learning International

Experiential Learning International is offering volunteer positions at a daycare center in Germany. The program, open to American, Australian, Canadian, and European participants, places volunteers in the rural village of Enkenbach-Alsenborn. Intermediate German language skill is required to join the program. Homestay accommodation is provided to each participant.

Up with People

Develop insights about Germany and its people through Up with People volunteer abroad programs. Establish social responsibility by participating in activities such as English Teaching, Home Visits, and other volunteer placements in Frankfurt. The program is open throughout the year to worldwide participants who wants to change the world.

Volunteer Abroad with an i-to-i TEFL Certificate

Volunteer abroad and earn a TEFL certification through i-to-i UK programs in Germany. Located in Cologne, programs are available all year round and require volunteers to be fluent in English. The program includes Pre-Departure Orientation, inclusion in the Post Alumni Network, and more.

United Planet

Individuals can engage in rewarding volunteer programs with United Planet while experiencing the unique cultural of Germany. Programs are available in two locations. Volunteer opportunities include Childcare, Youth Development, and Teaching. Program participation is restricted to American and Canadian volunteers.

International Volunteers

Take the chance to become immersed in the culture and lifestyle of Germany through International Volunteers. Participants can live and work in rural areas for a maximum of 12 weeks. Volunteers live with a local family and partake in community service projects, such as Childcare, Youth Development, and Daycare Assistance. These programs are open to all nationalities.

Teenagers between the age of 13 and 18 have the chance to volunteer abroad through Travel For Teens programs located in Germany. With a wide array of service-learning activities to choose from, participants can experience a new culture, see the world, and invest their time in helping local communities. No prior volunteer experience is required.

Friends of Waldorf Education

Volunteer abroad in Germany through Friends of Waldorf Education. Placements are provided across the country, including in Berlin, Brandenburg, and Frankfurt. The volunteer program includes accommodation, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.

City Travel Review

Gain a cross-cultural volunteer abroad experience in Berlin with City Travel Review. Volunteers get to go on walking tours around the city, complete German language classes, and share their experiences through a writing and research project. This City Travel Review project placements is open to volunteers of any nationality during the summer.
