Ask your students to make a short critique about a book that they have read recently. Not every student likes to read! So if your students are not into reading, suggest to them a book that you think they will find interesting and will be easy for them to understand. The critique should include a book summary and analysis. Your objective in this activity is to help the students improve their reading and comprehension skills. You can also assess the students' writing capabilities through this exercise. Check your students' book critique and evaluate everything - their grammar, sentence construction and vocabulary!
