Units of Measurement

This can be an interesting game when introducing units of measurement. You might want to create teams, depending on the number of students you have. Create variations in the game depending on the unit of measurement you are discussing. For example, if you are discussing weight, then bring a weighing scale with you. Collect things in the classroom and ask the teams to guess the weight of each of these objects. The team which guesses the closest to the actual weight gets a point. With a bit of imagination, you can do this for virtually all units of measurement.
