This program is geared to students who have completed a minimum of two semesters of French study (or the equivalent) and wish to continue improving their language skills while also taking courses on French culture and contemporary France taught in English and/or French.

In this young, vibrant country with a centuries-old history of intellectual advances and social tolerance, you can choose to study at the beginning, intermediate, or advanced language level. Programs are offered year-round in a wide variety of fields.

Students that join the CEA program can study French at one of our nine prestigious institutions in France, even if you haven't had any French study experience. Not only will you earn credit, you will be able to add international experience to your resume after you study in France, which will open career doors after graduation.

Since 1948, JYF has sent students to Paris for an intensive immersion experience. In 2010 we opened a program in Nice.
