    Description: Each year GLA offers 10 scholarships of 1,000 USD to students who demonstrate high academic achievement and write an essay addressing How study abroad will impact my academic and personal growth. To be considered, you must submit the essay, the program application, the required application fee of 395 USD,and an academic reference. Completed scholarship and program applications must be postmarked by March 31 for Summer 2008 programs. Students must meet the minimum requirements for the program to which they are applying, have at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA, show leadership potential and be involved in extracurricular activities centered on multicultural or international issues.
