There is cheap airfare and train tickets to many places including Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and mainland Europe. A trip up to Northern Ireland can take one up to the controversial city of Derry where events in recent history lead to the famous ‘Bloody Sunday’ shooting. There are also many ferries and planes over to Scotland and England where one can enhance his or her cultural experience.
Many Americans claim Irish ancestry. However, how many actually go to Ireland and experience it? And out of that number how many can say that they have lived, studied, and/or interned there?
