Situated next to Crowden Brook, why not use this newly re-built accommodation and activity centre as an excellent overnight stop when walking the Pennine Way. It's also a great base for walking the surrounding high plateaus and moors. There's plenty to do within easy reach and in the evening you can relax and enjoy a fantastic meal in our restaurant.

How do you get to this Youth Hostel:
Hostel is on the A628 that runs from Manchester to Barnsley. Once in the village of Crowden the hostel is signposted.

Bus information:
There is no local bus service to Crowden apart from Sundays when service number 61A runs from Holmfirth to Buxton and stops at Torside which is about 30 minutes walk away.

Train information:
Nearest train stations are in Glossop and Hadfield with regular rail services to Manchester.

National Express:
National Express service 350, which runs 3 times a day from Manchester to Sheffield, stops at Crowden.
