Not many backpacker hostels can boast a ballroom with chandeliers and open fireplaces like this restored heritage building. Hostel accommodation is in twin/double and multi-share rooms. Internet, pool table, BBQ and modern hostel facilities. Access to hostel surfboards and free bodyboards. At the YHA, Monday is 'Backpacker Pizza Night' and Thursday is 'Free BBQ Night'. Free pub dinners Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights.
