YES (Youth Exchanges in Spain) is an educational organization created to provide quality, integral services to international students. * Immersion
YES programs achieve a higher level of immersion than others to facilitate accelerated learning in a fun atmosphere:
* Home Base
Rather than focusing on touristic visits to many places, YES programs are based out of Seville with most excursions in and around the city. This allows participants to really get to know the city and gain a deeper understanding of its history and culture. Students also make a more meaningful and lasting connection to the city and it's people.
* Accommodation
YES is able to offer homestay and student resident options as a superior alternative to the standard hotel accommodations offered in other program packages.

* Learning Environment
Courses are taught by native teachers and are catered to the Spanish level of students. Classes are interactive and fun. Students actually enjoy their time in the classroom! Standard courses include Spanish language, History, and Culture facilitated by field trips and visits around the city to learn about course themes firsthand.
* Intercambios
Participants are matched with language and culture exchange partners to achieve the highest possible level of immersion. Intercambios are Spanish peers who live in the city center and study English. They are enthusiastic about helping program participants learn about the Spanish language and culture, and are eager to learn from their American counterparts as well. Correspondence and communication with intercambios begins prior to program dates, and generally continues on well after the program ends, giving participants the opportunity to build a lifelong international network.
* Support
YES programs balance a healthy level of independence with all the necessary assistance and support. Participants adhere to a structured schedule of class, excursions, activities, and curfew, but are also given free time to socialize and explore the city! The Program Director is available 24/7 and is in constant communication with other YES staff, group chaperons, and the Accommodations Manager. This structure allows participants to get out and discover the city for themselves without sacrificing safety and security.
* Fun!
At YES, we know it's not necessary to spend long hours in the classroom to learn a great deal of Spanish language, history and culture. Rather, we know that students learn more by the meaningful experiences they have on our programs. Class time is interactive and enjoyable, and many class hours are spent out and around the city. Participants refresh grammar in the classroom and then practice language with their intercambios and others. The learning experience participants have at YES is very different from classtime at their home school, making it a perfect supplement to traditional high school Spanish classes!
* Flexibility
YES is able to customize programs to fit the needs of groups. There are also Open Programs available to individual students. Programs are available year-round and can be tailored to fit the varying needs of individuals and groups.
