  • Description

WWOOFers can homestay in exchange for helping the host. Many of the hosts will take you to good spots near their home if you stay longer.

  • Highlights

WWOOF is not just a "giving" volunteer, but an "exchange" volunteer system. Because there is no handling of money between WWOOFers and hosts, it is so easy to get friendly with each other. You can also stay at places you can never find in guidebooks and experience local life with host family and neighbors.

  • WWOOF Korea's Mission Statement

"WWOOF" stands for World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. WWOOF Korea provides people with opportunities to directly help organic farmers in Korea. The uniqueness WWOOF has is that those who get help should also help volunteers(WWOOFers) by providing meals and accommodation as a host. WWOOF Korea has about 50 organic farms, including alternative schools, temple, and household which practice organic and sustaonable way of life. You don't necessarily have to speak Korean but have to have positive attitude and open mind. Many WWOOFers from various countries enjoy rural life experience as well as help farmers who preserve their lands and communities in good ways. Just get a real experience with WWOOF Korea!
