    Teach Math, Science and English in public high schools throughout Rwanda. Live in school provided housing either on the school campus or nearby. Living allowance approximately USD 100 per month from government and USD100 per month from volunteer stipend payments.

    Volunteer Role

    Volunteers will primarily be teaching English, entrepreneurship, math and science subjects in high schools, though there will be opportunities to teach other subjects such as ICT as well. Volunteers are also expected to join and lead extracurricular activities such as sports teams, library committees, and debate clubs.

  • Qualifications

    * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
    * Native English speaker
    * Comfortable working in cross-cultural environments
    * Independent worker
    * Good people skills and organizational skills
    * Flexibility and creativity in problem solving
    * Teaching or volunteer experience
    * Interest in international education and development
    * Willingness to live with a family
    * 25 hours ESL service required before departure (after acceptance to the program).
