Semester-Long Volunteer Teaching Positions in Bangladesh

Program Duration

7-12 Month


Program starts in early January. Application deadline: November


Volunteers must:
Be native or near-native English speaker
Have a Bachelor's degree (in any subject); Master's degrees encouraged
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Be flexible, open-minded, patient and mature
Have a deep interest in women's issues, especially their role in international development
Possess a desire to teach in Bangladesh

Experience living and/or working in a developing country a plus. Female applicants as well as WorldTeach alumni are encouraged to apply.

Program Fees Include:

This program is funded by the Asian University for Women. The program includes all line items listed above in the "Cost Includes" section plus 24-hour field support. The volunteer is responsible for airfare, but will receive a $500 travel allowance upon completion of the program.
