Our internship in Cancun gives you the opportunity to enhance your Spanish skills as well as your professional work experience. We offer a wide variety of internship positions which are divided in Business and Tourism Internship positions.
Marketing & Sales:
- Observation of negotiations with travel agencies
- Creation of billboards for travel agents, visitors...
- Perform system scans to control the positioning
- Manage prices and rates subject to availability: Revenue Management
- Preparation of the booking files by day, month, and year.
- Perform daily and monthly sales markets and classify per market
- Preparation of daily, weekly, biweekly and monthly reports
- Review of the daily, weekly, and monthly occupation
- Preparation of the room nights, average rate and average occupation report
Human Resources:
- Implementation of Policies and Procedures
- Participation in the evaluation of candidates and selection processes
- Design and implementation of training activities and courses, organization of training activities (logistics, administrative), prepare reports of formative assessments.
- Participate in managing the performance Appraisal System, participation in budgeting and sizing, study workforce productivity.
- Handle inquiries relating to labor relations to prevent or resolve conflicts, communicate and inform and if necessary train the chiefs of departments for better performance, conduct internal audits of the work area.
- Actively participate in the innovation and development of new projects and concepts for the department and the hotel. Support and collaborate in all communication actions affecting the human resources.
Administration & Finance:
- Working directly with leaders of Management, Billing and Credit
- Billing and monitoring of non-paid
- Accounting of all the departments
- Permanent revision of administrative emails
- Information management: documents, invoices, records, invoices, contracts, etc..
- Monitoring and tracking of shipments, invoices and suppliers&
- Cash, accounts and billing management.
- Management of databases.
Event management:
- Organization of weddings, meetings, birthdates and other events that have been paid to be organized in the hotel
- Collect all the requirements of the client for his event
- Contact all suppliers to create the event according to what has been ordered by the client: drinks, restaurants, rooms, meals, leisure.
- Administrative tasks in the direction department (prospection - contact clients - prices - communication...)
Public relations:
- Provide personal attention to each of the guests by providing information about services and facilities in the hotel, creating an image of care, warmth and quality.
- Provide necessary, clear and accurate information about the hotel
- Perform operational tasks of the department as reservations in the different restaurants, in the spa and golf course, report of complaints, assistance in incidents.
- Realize courtesy and welcoming calls to be informed of the satisfaction and needs of the guests.
- Supervise birthdays, honeymoons (LM), loyal customers (CR) or VIP guests.
Business Positions
