  • Description

World Unite! arranges volunteering options, internships, voluntourism itineraries and World Learner (learning the specific and traditional skills of your host country) options in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Morocco, Nicaragua, India, Mexico and Israel.

There is a variety of options in all of our countries including the subject areas of education, social work, medical, environmental, management, arts, sports, IT, media, tourism, farming etc.

World Unite! is a network of currently 7 local tour operators which are operating directly in your host countries. This means that almost all money paid by the participant will remain in the host country and will help in the creation of local employment and sustainable development. It is being coordinated by Zenith Tours of Zanzibar.

Besides placing participants into projects and offering support services around your stay abroad, World Unite! is also directly and actively involved in non-for-profit NGO work: We make NGOs benefit from tourism, for instance on Uzi Island (Zanzibar) where we are running a cultural tourism initiative and sea turtle/marine biology conservation project, or by working with women groups who are producing and selling souvenirs as part of small-scale entrepreneurship initiatives.

  • World Unite!'s Mission Statement

World Unite! is a network of currently 7 local tour operators from India, Tanzania, Israel, Nicaragua and Morocco. Almost all money paid by the participant will remain in the host country and will help in the creation of local employment and sustainable development. It is being coordinated by Zenith Tours of Zanzibar. Under the brand name "World Unite!", we have a common platform offering volunteering options, internships, voluntourism itineraries and World Learner (learning the traditions and specific knowledge of the host country) options. World Unite! stands for the idea of socially and environmentally sustainable tourism as well as enriching and meaningful experiences to our participants in their chosen host country. Besides placing participants into projects ranging from education to social work, medical/clinical electives, environmental, management, arts etc. and arranging cultural travel options, World Unite! is also directly and actively involved in non-for-profit NGO work: We make NGOs benefit from tourism, for instance by having developed and promoting the "Social Reality Tour" with a local NGO at Kilimanjaro/Tanzania, or by working with women groups who are producing and selling souvenirs as part of small-scale entrepreneurship initiatives.
