An internship in Psychology is a great way to build upon your academic and professional foundation in the field! Psychology placements are typically mostly observational or research- and administration-based, as there are strict rules as to client interactions; however, such a placement can still guarantee exceptional exposure to the inner-workings of a psychologist's office, mental health center, university, human resources department, or any other number of hosts. This is also a great way to get some exposure in a range of duties and disciplines so you can find out what sub field of psychology interests you the most.
