Description

You can get hands on experience in the medical field with an internship in Costa Rica. Depending on your level of experience, you can be placed in positions within health care administration or you can even shadow a doctor at a private clinic. Placements are also available in small cities outside of San Jose in small clinics that provide care for low income families.

Highlights

When you aren't busy working or in Spanish language classes, you can go on one of the many excursions that are easily accessible from the city. You can go on canopy, coffee, or butterfly tours, visit nearby volcanoes, go whitewater rafting, or spend a day at the waterfall gardens!

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least an intermediate level of English
- Must have at least 1 year of academic or professional experience in field of interest
- Must have a flexible attitude
- Must be willing to learn
- Must obtain a valid Passport in order to participate
