Description

This internship provides fieldwork experience in a Latin American health care setting. Interns should have taken upper level courses in their field and have an intermediate level of Spanish. This program will develop language skills and medical vocabulary and will provide insight to the cultural similarities and differences between Mexican and American healthcare systems.

Highlights

Explore the City of Eternal Spring by visiting city center gardens, local markets, and checking out Aztec ruins. This vibrant city is full of young people studying Spanish, so you can be sure to meet people from all over the world and learn about their cultures as well!

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least an intermediate level of English
- Must have at least 1 year of academic or professional experience in field of interest
- Must have a flexible attitude
- Must be willing to learn
- Must obtain a valid Passport in order to participate
