Get first-hand teaching experience in the beautiful city of Florence!

Build upon your skills as an instructor and educator while learning about the Italian education system as a whole. Most education placements involve using your English language proficiency, so you can find yourself assisting a professor or teacher in English classes, lesson planning, translating/editing, or helping in administrative duties. Participants majoring in education and/or with significant teaching experience may be able to teach classes independently.

Education placements are available during the Italian school year, running from October to May. A minimum 3-month commitment is preferred for these placements.

Intern in Florence and discover all the beauty and culture that Tuscany has to offer! The birthplace of Italian Renaissance and famous figures such as Leonardo Da Vinci, the city is full of history. You can visit museums and art galleries, hop on a train to Rome or Milan, or simply explore the cobblestone streets and local shops.

- Must have at least an intermediate level of English
- Must have at least 1 year of academic or professional experience in field of interest
- Must have a flexible attitude
- Must be willing to learn
- Must obtain a valid Passport in order to participate
