When you are accepted into the World Endeavors internship program, that is our guarantee that we can find you an internship in your chosen field. You will work with a World Endeavors internship placement staff member who will get to know you, your academic background, work experience, special skills, and professional goals. We will then work to find an internship placement that is a good match for both you and the host organization.

Highlights

Interns are given an orientation upon their arrival. This will cover information about the Irish workplace, health and safety, transportation, and life in Ireland.

Once participants get acclimated to living in Ireland, there are many opportunities available to enjoy authentic an Irish lifestyle. A typical work week is Monday to Friday from 8-5. On evenings and weekends, interns can explore the Irish countryside on mountain bikes, go hiking, take in a movie, or enjoy a cozy Irish pub or restaurant. Ireland is rich in history and cultural activities. Interns will never find themselves at a loss for something to do in their spare time.

Qualifications

Participants should be between 18-30 years old and for most placements should have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework. Relevant academic background and/or work experience is preferred but not required.
