Westcoast Connection is in our 28th summer of showing teenagers the summer of a lifetime. We offer Active Teen Tours as well as Adventures, Community Service, Language Immersion, Pre-College Enrichment, and Ski/Snowboard programs. Our itineraries travel throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, Canada, Europe, Australia, Costa Rica, Africa, China, Peru, Israel, and Belize.

The Californian Extravaganza by Westcoast Connection is a 28-day program. The trip begins in Denver and continues onto the following locations: Boulder, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Park City, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Pacific Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Sedona Scottsdale.

* University of Colorado - Boulder
Welcome & Orientation at one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. Bike the Boulder creek path. Hang out with the funky musicians & street performers on Pearl Street. Experience the Rockies - head up to the Flatirons. Ride the night away at Denver's Elitch Gardens Amusement Park!

* The Grand Tetons/Yellowstone
Whitewater Raft the wild, wet Snake River. Check out famous resort town Jackson Hole. Ride down amazing alpine slide. Discover Yellowstone's "Old Faithful". Get ready to count buffalo!

* Salt Lake City
Exciting Lagoon-a-Beach Water & Amusement Park. Dare to take the vertical plunge on amazing "Wicked" Roller Coaster.

After a night's rest in Winnemucca, Nevada, we head to the beautiful resort town of Lake Tahoe to begin our 14 amazing days in CALIFORNIA!

* Lake Tahoe
Beach volleyball, tubing, and pro instruction in wakeboarding and water skiing. Take the ropes course challenge - ride the "giant swing" and zip the zip-line. Play tennis, shoot hoops, or chill poolside at our camping resort. Sprawl the deck of our exclusive sailing cruise on the deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe!

* San Francisco
Ride across Golden Gate Bridge, then on to Fisherman's Wharf. Check out Pier 39 & tour Alcatraz prison. Sample Ghirardelli chocolates and ride a cable car to Chinatown for an authentic feast. Wobble your way down Lombard St., the world's "crookedest". Cheer for the Giants or the A's. Experience real San Francisco nightlife at a dance club!

Your first days of Pacific surf with beach party, then on to the City of Angels!

Ready? Learn to ride the waves and hang ten with professional instructors at our Pacific Ocean surf camp! Encounter the animals of world-famous San Diego Zoo. Team up with new friends for Ultrazone laser tag!

* Las Vegas
Two great nights and lots of pool time at incredible Monte Carlo Hotel1 Tour world-famous Las Vegas Blvd.- erupting volcano, white tigers, Bellagio's dancing fountains and Venetian canals. Explore the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, play the very latest at Gameworks. Dare to ride the world's highest, the Big Shot, 1000 feet atop the Stratosphere!

* The Canyons
Zion National Park means sculptured canyons, soaring cliffs and dramatic landscapes. Walk through the spectacularly colored pinnacles at Bryce Canyon. More laughs and group bonding at our exclusive western show and chuckwagon cookout. You will remember it forever - what more to say than The Grand Canyon!

* Scottsdale Resort
Climb into a Sedona Pink Jeep for a Red Rock Desert adventure. Enjoy a fantastic final summer stay at the Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains. Choose from health club, swimming or just hanging out in the sunshine. Share great moments of friendship before our farewell banquet and your trip home!
