  • Description

VIN is a not-for-profit non governmental organization based in Nepal. We do not have any funding agency. VIN therefore is looking for a Grant writer and fundraiser who can write project proposals based on real situations in the working sites to fund its uprunning projects. You can also help VIN develop projects for its future working community sites.

We wish to develop project proposals on:

    1. Women Empowerment Project: women literacy, rights, income generative skills, microcredit, health and sanitation.
    2. School Improvement Issues: Teacher development, infrastructure development (classroom, toilets, library, playgrounds, computer and science labs, early childhood centers etc).
    3. Child Development: Children's clubs, child nutrition and health, sponsorships, creativity, sports etc.
    4. Youth Development: Career development skills, vocational and life skills.
    5. Community Learning Center (CLC): A center/ platform for sustainable development practice; a building having an appropriate training hall, library, computer lab etc.
    6. Water and Sanitation: Pure drinking water, toilets, environment.

If you have ideas, experiences, expertise and wish to help VIN sustain community project, then lets join hands and work together. We are really looking for professionals wanting to help us in Project writing in many fields.

As VIN does not have any funding organization, it solely depends on volunteer programs. We operate our administration with a cost effective manner. First and foremost, VIN requests all interested donors to send clothes and books (even second hand), if possible. We are in the process of constructing Community Learning Centers (CLC) in the Communities in our catchments. The books can be in English or Nepali and will be warmly received by the village people who have no immediate access to educational materials. Similarly, all clothes are distributed to needy families upon arrival, allowing about two weeks for organization and transportation.

If it is not feasible for you to collect clothes or books, you can support by sending monetary donations which will help fund collection and buy materials for students and community members alike. Click on to our website to know how you can make a donation.
