The vision of this institute is to play a key role in the development and education of students from both Bolivia and abroad, enabling them to improve their opportunities and enrich their experiences in life.

The mission is to offer a high quality language education to all of our students and families of limited economic resource, which is achieved through specialist language courses that enable them to make everlasting and enriching changes in their lives.

Highlights

* Volunteering in Nurseries

In the nurseries volunteers would be expected to support organisers in supervising and playing with the children. This entails teaching them some games, songs, reading stories to them, and getting involved in creative activities such as craftwork.

Minimum Spanish required: basic.
Minimum stay at project: two weeks.

* Volunteer work teaching English

This takes place at the language institute with a range of groups of different linguistic levels and ages. If you do not have any experience teaching English it is not a problem because training will be provided. The only thing that we ask is that you tell us what level you would like to teach and whether would you prefer to teach children, teenagers or adults.

Minimum Spanish required: none.
Minimum stay at project: no minimum stay.

* Spanish Courses

The project also offers Spanish or Quechua lessons at very reasonable prices, which may be in the form of private lessons in a larger group. There is also great flexibility with in the program, as you have the option to choose the day you start, as well as the number of hours you would like to study.

* Extra Activities

If all of this isn't enough to make your volunteering experience truly memorable, the project in Sucre also have additional cultural activities such us courses in Bolivian cuisine or Spanish-English language exchange in order to enable you to practice your Spanish. What's more, all of these activities are free of charge if you volunteer and take Spanish lessons.
