Description
VFP offers over 3000 affordable voluntary service projects in 100+ countries, including many in Costa Rica throughout the year. These international voluntary service projects are an opportunity to participate in meaningful community service while living and interacting in an intercultural environment. Volunteer projects vary greatly since they arise wherever there is a need in a given community.
Most projects are limited to ages 18 and up. In Costa Rica, the volunteer can choose their start and end dates throughout the year and stay from 1 week to 1 year. A USD 500 per-project registration fee includes accommodation and food. There are additional fees to be paid on arrival depending on the project and duration. Transportation is arranged and paid for by the volunteer.
