  • Description

    VFP offers over 3000 affordable, short-term voluntary service projects in 100+ countries, including over 400 in France. These international voluntary service projects are an opportunity to participate in meaningful community service while living and interacting in an intercultural environment. Work projects include: construction/renovation of low-income housing or community buildings, historic preservation, archeology; environmental projects such as trail building, environmental education, wildlife surveying, park maintenance, organic farming; social services working with children, the elderly, physically or mentally handicapped, refugees, minority groups, drug/alcohol recovery, AIDS education; as well as arts projects and festivals.

    Projects are available for teens, 18+ and group placements throughout the year, ranging from 2 weeks to 1 year in duration. A USD 350 per-project registration fee (USD 500 if over 18) includes accommodation and food. Transportation is arranged and paid for by the volunteer.

    For summer 2012, we have 2 projects that include some travel reimbursement, 1 for teens and 1 for 18+. The amount ranges from USD 200 - 300. Please contact VFP for more information or to sign up!
