VIP Argentina (September 2005)

VIP met all of my expectations for an volunteer abroad program - and I had a lot! The 2-weeks of language classes and the cultural immersion of living with Argentine families, both in Buenos Aires and the Provinces, created a very complete experience and really made me fall in love with Argentina! Because I was placed individually and not with a group of other volunteers, I gained a true cultural immersion that none of my other abroad experiences had offered. It also allowed my speaking fluency to GREATLY improve. And although placed alone, the support from the local and national offices provided me a feeling of security throughout the program.
