Description

A typical volunteer helping in an orphanage would help the children with their day to day activities such as: doing homework, making notes, playing with children, helping staff organize the orphanage, exchanging cultural views and teaching them about health and hygiene. You can also take the kids out for picnics and for excursions. The main aim of our volunteers is to spend time with these children and make them feel loved. Volunteers work Monday to Friday for 5 - 6 hours a day. Volunteers are welcome to bring toys, stationary or clothes for children.

The project placements are located in and around the suburbs of Bangalore. Volunteers are provided completed details of their project after the placement is confirmed.

Qualifications

Volunteers must be 17 years or older at the beginning of the program. Volunteers need to have an open mind and flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. The volunteer should bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference.
