Description

Volunteers in this program will do volunteer work in local community hospitals & clinics assisting doctors and nurses in taking care of patients. Usually these health centers are run by NGO's who run these for helping the community. Volunteers are much needed in these centers and a lot of clinics depend on volunteers. Volunteers help in first aid, checking blood pressure, bandaging, checking temperature, pulse etc and helping local staff by assisting them by making use of their experience.

Highlights

The project placements are located in and around the cities of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Hanoi.

Qualifications

You will need to have some medical background to work in this program. Volunteers must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the program. All volunteers joining this program need to be either a medical student, doctor, nurse or should have some prior experience in the health field.
