Volunteering Solutions works in the south of the Philippines. Volunteer work is available in Tacloban and Ormoc cities in the Philippines. Our volunteer programs run throughout the year and you can join from 1-24 weeks in duration anytime of the year. Volunteer work in the Philippines is available to volunteer at an orphanage, volunteer with street children, volunteer to teach English, work on community projects and volunteer at a health center or clinic. We work with local NGOs and social organizations to offer the most meaningful volunteer work in the Philippines.

Highlights

Volunteer in the Philippines at an orphanage volunteers work at orphanage in Tacloban and Ormoc cities, helping children and staff in daily work, studying, playing games and sports. Volunteers usually work 5 days a week and have the weekend off to travel around.

Volunteer with Street Children in the Philippines. The aim of this project is to educate and help children living on the streets and usually are subject to child labor and abuse in Philippines. Volunteers work in shelter homes made by government and NGO's working towards upliftment of these children.

Volunteer in Teaching Program in the Philippines volunteers teach English and few other subjects to children in local community schools and orphanages. Teaching is very basic and no formal teaching experience or training is required.

Volunteer Community Development Programs Volunteers work with poor people from the society and work with the community to help and support these people. Volunteers are needed to teach, help in daily work and in community offices in the city.

Volunteer Health and Medical Programs. You will do voluntary work in local community hospitals & clinics assisting doctors and nurses in taking care of patients. Usually these health centers are run by NGO's who run these for helping the community.

Qualifications

Volunteers must be 17 years or older at the beginning of the program. Volunteers need to have an open mind and flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. The volunteer should bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference.
