Description

This is a great opportunity to Teach English in Nepali schools. The goal of this program is to give Nepali children a chance to improve their English language and writing skills. Mastering English is, nowadays, a must-have in order to obtain a job in Kathmandu and other large cities. The children can benefit a lot from your experience, skills and enthusiasm.

In this program volunteers are placed in governmental and community schools to teach English. Some schools provide text books that you may follow but initiatives are always greatly welcome. We highly encourage volunteers to bring their own materials such as songs, stories... You may be working with a Nepali teacher or manage the class on your own. Let us know what your preference is prior to joining us.

You will be working 4-5 hours a day and 5 per week. Our programs are very flexible so you will always be able to create your own schedule with the approval of the school management.

Qualifications

No skills and qualifications are required. However you must be able to speak English.
