Description

Volunteering India offers a unique opportunity for dental students to take part in dental internship placement in Dharamshala / Palampur and gain valuable experience by working along with professional dentists. Dental students perform hands on work and assist the dentists in their work. This also depends on their level of knowledge and the year of dental school they are in.

Third and fourth year dental students also get an opportunity to perform tasks such as scaling, extractions and filings depending on their skill levels.

Our program is also suitable for dental students groups travelling together. We arrange special dental checkup camps wherein interns can work.Camps generally are conducted for students of local schools and in nearby villages. This is intended to be a fun, interactive way to increase their oral hygiene habits and raise awareness of certain common dental problems such as gum diseases and cavities.

This program is suitable for dental students who are looking to do an elective placement.First and second year students will be assisting and shadowing the dentists. Third year and fourth year students will be performing hands on tasks depending on their skill level.

Program Cost and Start Date

Program start on every Monday of the month. You can also join the language and orientation week in Delhi prior to starting your volunteer / internship program. This program starts on every 1st and 3rd Monday and is highly recommended.

Our program costs start at USD325/ GBP228 for 1 week.

Note: An Application Fee of only USD 150 / GBP 101 is required at the time of application. This would confirm your spot and would be refunded if we are not able to provide placement in India.
