VolNepal is currently working with a women's shelter in Nepal, called Didi's Foundation. This is a shelter that provides a safe haven for women in need. As women continue to be victimized, it is important that they are given a chance to feel safe and succeed in life. At Didis Foundation, women have a chance to learn new skills to help them build future businesses, meet new friends, create new relationships and learn to respect and speak up for themselves.

As a volunteer at Didis Foundation, you would provide the women an opportunity to improve their English language skills, share your knowledge and skills with them, and interact with them on a daily basis. You presence at Didis Foundation gives women and their children consistency and comfort as they recover from difficult and unstable times.

You can help Didis by:
- Design new products
- Help for marketing
- English language
- Promotion of web sites
- Find new business for their products
- Create your own ideas.

Highlights

At Didi's they get a new family to interact with, new friends and they automatically practice to speak up for themselves and trust other people.

Volunteers can help out teaching English conversation and other skills as well as just interact with the women.

Didi's is also in great need of donations and sponsors.

Volunteer Nepal National Group (Volnepal) which is a non-profit organization in Nepal. Volnepal was founded in 2000 and registered with the Chief District Administration Office and the Social Welfare Council, in Kathmandu in 2004. Our mission is to organize grassroots nonprofits and NGO's from diverse sectors and to coordinate these organizations' efforts to eliminate poverty through the implementation of ideas, funds and volunteers.
