  • Description

    If you were ever thinking about volunteering in India you have come to right place. Our volunteer in India programs are experiences rather than just placements. Its a unique combination of volunteer work with cultural immersion and a chance to experience India through its various spiritual traditions. When you volunteer in India with us you receive a quality volunteering experience and are guaranteed a professional support network to guide you throughout your stay in India.

    As a volunteer in India, India provides you endless opportunities for social work, socio-geographical exploration and your own journey towards inner silence. India is one of the few countries in the world that enjoy all sorts of ecological variations from deserts to rain forests, from lush planes to sky-high mountains, and from historical rivers to world-famous sea coasts. With a culture that can be termed as one of the most ancient cultures of the world, for a traveler and a volunteer, India can be a never ending cornucopia of adventure, revelation and spiritual gratification.

    Your days could be spending teaming up with other volunteers in the region and working in a monastery in the farthest reaches of the mighty Himalayas teaching English to monks and young kids and taking daily meditation lessons from the monks there. You could be out there on a farm lending a helping hand to farmers in fertile land of Punjab and learning the Traditional dance in return. You could be working with a traditional medicine man learning Ayurvedic medicines to offer treatments in Kerala and in return learning the ancient martial arts Kalari. Volunteer activities are mostly coupled with cultural and spiritual lessons to help volunteer immerse themselves into the rich cultural traditions of India and experience India from its roots. All our programs are a good mixture of spiritual and cultural immersion within India.

    This is an experience of a life time! Volunteer in India programs provide its participants with a unique opportunity to not only work for a good cause and create a difference in the lives some needy people but also create a difference in their own life. All our programs are tailor-made to create an experience for its participants. We believe its not just about volunteering but about experiencing.

    Currently we are offering placements in some of the most interesting and culturally rich places in India :
    * Dharamsala
    * Ladakh
    * Patiala
    * Kerala
    * Rishikesh

  • Highlights

    1) Program Locations : All of our program locations are carefully chosen to give our participants an experience of a lifetime. We have intentionally kept ourselves away from the metropolitan cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Calcutta as we feel they are not the true India. They are too modern to be the real, true India. Our program locations are the either tourist Hot spots of Cultural and Spiritual Importance or non-tourist locations, never heard of. Dharamsala, Rishikesh and Leh are among some of the most visited cities in India owing to their unique aura, landscape, culture and environment. Patiala and Kannur on the other had are no where on the tourist Maps, our volunteers are probably the only foreigners there.

    2) Volunteer Experience : Our programs are not just placements but rather experiences. We don't want to sell the poverty, illiteracy and the social problems in India to attract volunteers but rather we want attract volunteers through centuries old Traditions, heart throbbing landscapes and the spiritual heritage of India. We understand that volunteers who come to India are not only looking to volunteer for a social cause and be a part of someone success story but also experience India.

    3) Comprehensive Service : Our programs are comprehensive or Airport to Airport. We understand that 90% of the volunteers who come to India are first time travelers to India, which makes traveling in India alone for the first time a bit of struggle. We therefore cover all aspects of volunteer placement in India, from arrival at the International airport to transfer to Project location to drop back at the airport.

    4) Yoga : All our programs at all location includes Yoga lessons. Yoga is one of the most popular practice to originate from India with multitude benefits.
