    We offer short and long term volunteer work in the following areas:

    Children:

    * Teacher's aide
    * English tutor
    * Arts and crafts instructor
    * Tutor in math and sciences
    * Working with physically challenged children

    Health:

    * Visiting aide to hospitalized children
    * Tutoring hospitalized children
    * Teaching English to doctors and nurses
    * Working with malnourished children in a feeding program

    Community organizations:

    * Need to commit minimally for 6 months
    * General office work
    * Helping with website, graphics, promotional materials
    * Translating documents
    * Fundraising

    Volunteer Bolivia offers one of the best international volunteer programs in Latin America. It was founded in 2001 by Bolivians and foreigners with the goal of providing a bridge to understanding Bolivia and her people. We have grown to become the only in-country based volunteer organization in Bolivia. Located in Cochabamba, we offer a unique combination of Spanish language immersion, volunteer work and homestays. Our volunteers work in micro-enterprises, literacy centers, and children's services. We work with a wide range of humanitarian and social organizations providing an authentic service learning experience and the chance to make a difference.
