  • Description

A short term, one-on-one full immersion course. Students study 2-4 hours per day and may participate in our on-going community service projects. Minimum one-week commitment.

All of our Spanish teachers are university educated, experienced and have attended workshops on teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. Instruction is personalized with one-on-one classes and lessons structured to the level and interest each student. Participants can study for two to four hours daily, depending upon their needs and interest.

Viva Nicaragua's Spanish language program strives to give students a comprehensive understanding of not only Spanish but also the culture, history, and socio-economic conditions of Nicaragua. In addition to learning the formal structure of the Spanish language, you will have the opportunity to discuss current events, history, politics and social issues with your teacher.

Most students study for one to two weeks. Longer stays may be arranged.

We can provide a list of hotels and hostels in Granada. Homestays with experienced Nicaraguan families can also be arranged.
